The Xbox Store is hosting a Rockstar publisher sale and Resident Evil franchise sale this week, discounting hits like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Resident Evil 2 to super low prices. You have until September 28 to shop both sales, so make sure to grab what you want before then. While this week’s deals are a little light, most of the featured games are worth checking out, especially at these prices.
The Rockstar publisher sale includes great deals on Red Dead Redemption 2. The standard edition is discounted to $30, while the normally pricey Ultimate edition is down to $40. The Ultimate edition comes with bonus missions and cosmetics as well as additional content for Red Dead Online. Grand Theft Auto V’s Premium edition is on sale for $15. Alternatively, you can pick up the game with Shark Card cash for Grand Theft Auto Online. A bundle featuring the game and $8 million in Grand Theft Auto Online cash is discounted to $40.49. You can also grab the narrative-focused detective game L.A. Noire for $20.
The Resident Evil franchise sale discounts virtually every entry in the franchise available on Xbox One. The Resident Evil 3 remake is down to $30, while last year’s Resident Evil 2 remake is only $20. If you don’t have either of them, you can pick up the Raccoon City edition bundle for $48 to nab both. Resident Evil 7, the latest game in the mainline franchise, is discounted to $10. Meanwhile, older games in the series are available for bargain prices. Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 are all discounted to $8 each. The stellar spin-off series Resident Evil Revelations is also up for grabs for a great price, with both games bundled together for $16.
As always, Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate can take advantage of some exclusive deals this week. Highlights of this week’s Deals with Gold include tactical strategy game Othercide for $30, Nier: Automata – Become as Gods edition for $20, and Devil May Cry HD Collection for $15.
