The gaming hardware and accessory company Razer is hosting its first event this year, and like many other gaming events in 2020, it will be held as an online-only presentation. RazerCon 2020 will take place on October 10, and the company has promised new announcements, game trailers, giveaways, and more.
Razer is also providing customers with the exclusive promo code GAMESPOT. This code gets you discounts on some of the company’s best headphones: the Razer Opus headphones and Razer Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds. You can learn more about both of these Bluetooth headphone options below.

What To Expect
In the announcement, Razer acknowledged that 2020 has been a tough year all around, especially with limitations to physical events. The company notes that the event will be “an opportunity to celebrate gaming and the Razer community.”
The festivities will begin with a keynote from Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan. From there, we expect to see individual showcases of upcoming games. The event specifically promised we’d see more from Romero Games (Empire of Sin), Perfect World (Torchlight 3), and Paradox Interactive. Razer also promises product managers will be on-tap to show off new Razer goods.
While watching, you’ll be able to enter to win prizes like game beta keys and Razer gear and hardware, including a Razer Blade 15 gaming laptop. A “Grand Raffle” offers a mystery bundle worth $10,000, which includes a new Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080.
The show will wrap up with an online concert from Sabaton and DragonForce. Razer also promised “the world’s first RGB lighting reactive livestream”–though we’re not sure if that will be throughout the entire show, or just the EDM concert.
