Today’s online Apple event was expected to reveal the iPhone 12 and several variants, but before the company could share the news itself, images of the full iPhone 12 lineup have leaked online. Noted leaker Evan Blass has unveiled four different iPhone models that will likely be showcased today.
The lineup includes the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. These names align with previous leaks and fall in line with expectations for the event, although the photos don’t offer a full view of what to expect from the devices, which are believed to feature a boxier look reminiscent of the iPhone 4. In terms of naming conventions, the iPhone 12 Mini is the only real divergence from Apple’s established formula. It’s rumored to feature a 5.4-inch screen, which would make it smaller than any of Apple’s recent iPhones.
In terms of colors, here are the options that are pictured:
- iPhone 12: black, blue, green, red, white
- iPhone 12 Mini: black, blue, green, red, white
- iPhone 12 Pro: blue, gold, graphite, silver
- iPhone 12 Pro Max: blue, gold, graphite, silver
We don’t have confirmed details on what to expect from the devices themselves, but they are rumored to feature the usual performance and camera improvements, as well as the iPhone debut of 5G functionality and OLED displays.
We should be getting all of the official details later today when the Apple event kicks off at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. This news will be coming later than is usual. While Apple did host its usual event in September, that was focused on revealing two new iPad models and the latest Apple Watch devices. iPhone skipped the event entirely for this October premiere.
